"Admiral has honestly been a safe bet on just about anything we’ve tried him on, whether Ultrablack or full Brangus cattle. He consistently adds style, bone, depth, and plenty of muscle, along with structural correctness and excellent foot design. His calves are showing the same easy-keeping qualities and fleshing ability that he exhibits himself.

His calves are typically born small, often arrive ahead of their due dates, and then really explode with growth. They have continued getting better at every stage we evaluate them. His first daughters are nearing calving, so we’ll have a better idea of udder quality soon. Our expectations are high, as his dam’s udder has been about as good as one could ask for. I view Admiral as a bull with a broad range of mating options who can add quality and performance across a variety of females while maintaining overall balance. We’ve been pleased with how consistently he stamps his calves across different types of females.

Disposition is outstanding, and is something we place a great deal of value on." - Adam Hicks, Hicks Ranch
