Csonka of Brinks will without doubt be remembered as one of the great Brangus breed legends. His explosive growth is coupled by excellent carcase and fertility, ranking him in the top 4% or higher for Weaning Wt, Yearling Wt, Scrotal Circumference, Rib-Eye Area, and Marbling (IMF).
Our Csonka calves are outstanding. We offered one of our first heifers for auction at Beef ‘09 as only an 8 month old heifer and she sold for an Australian record of $16,000. In the following months we sold her full sister for a new record of $20,000. In 2011, Telpara Hills made history by selling a flush out of a Csonka daughter for $22,000. There are several more still at Telpara Hills which will feature heavily in our breeding program as well as his sons, such as Braxton of Brinks.

The Oaks Farms decided to make Csonka semen available only to a select few members of the Csonka Syndicate. Telpara Hills and ABS Australia were able to secure a very limited amount of semen for exclusive sale in Australia.
